Funeral services are set to take place Saturday for a young man who drowned in floodwaters during the big storm which hit the South Coast two weeks ago.
A public memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday for Josue Trinidad at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Thousand Oaks.
The 18 year old was walking with three other men in a Thousand Oaks barranca February 17th when they were trapped by quickly rising floodwaters. Trinidad was swept away before rescuers could reach the scene.
His body was recovered the following day.
