Thursday's New COVID-19 Case Count In Tri-Counties Continues Overall Dip

80 new cases of the virus have been reported on the Central annd South Coasts

Ventura County had 17 additional cases, Santa Barbara County 20, and San Luis Obispo County 33. The daily total bumped the three county number since the start of the pandemic to just over 134,000.

One additional COVID-19 related death was reported in the Tri-Counties. It moved the overall number in the last year to 1687 deaths.

Ventura County moved into the state’s Orange reopening tier this week, which allowed things like increased indoor capacity at restaurants. Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties remain in the state’s Red tier.
