Have you ever wondered what happens after you flush your toilet? This weekend, you have the chance to find out on the South Coast.

The Goleta Sanitary District is having an open house today, the "Jurassic Plant Tour," with tours and activities.

The event is themed around Jurassic Park, says Laura Romano DeFazio with the District, because “all the water on earth has – believe it or not – been around since the time of the dinosaurs.”

Romano DeFazio says that the open house will be aiming to educate the public about water recycling, while providing food, tours, and rides.

One of the special activities is called the "Tyranno-hoe," where children can move fake eggs with the help of a dinosaur backhoe (as well as a trained operator).

The event is free Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
