Pop Star Katy Perry To Feature South Coast Children's Group In Benefit Performance

Pop superstar Katy Perry has a benefit show at the Santa Barbarba Bowl Saturday night to aise money to help those affected by the Montecito Mudflow.

Perry has also enlisted some help from local kids for part of her performance.

She'll put on an estimated two hour show for 5000 attendees at the Bowl, and during her song "Firework," the singer asked the Santa Barbara Youth Ensemble Theater performers to join her on stage.

Among them will be Lauren Cantin, who lost her brother and father during the mudslide.

The kids will be coming in from the Lobero Theater, where they are performing two shows of Les Miserables that day.
