With mud-caked boots and pants, Santa Barbara County's search and rescue team continues to look for two children lost in the Montecito mudflow disaster.
The crews have been aided by search dogs along with 20 teams from out of the area. They were focused on an area between East Valley Road and the ocean.
"We've segmented the area into 14 different zones," says Nelson Trichler, "and in each part of the zones we had three different dog teams go through at different times."
Trichler says that now that the soiled has hardened and cracked, there may be scents that come to the surface and attract the dogs.
