Man arrested in San Bernardino County for 2019 attack.

There’s been a second arrest for a drive-by shooting in Ventura County which left a pregnant woman wounded, and her seven-year-old daughter in a coma.

The shooting happened in July of 2019, in Port Hueneme. Detectives say multiple shots were fired at a home from a passing car.

In December of 2019, Anthony Silerio was arrested as a suspect in the attack. He is still awaiting trial. Detectives and prosecutors gathered enough information to get an arrest warrant for a second suspect in the attack.

Jaylin Edwards was located in San Bernardino County, and arrested last week by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s detectives. He’ll be extradited to Ventura County to stand trial. The seven-year-old girl is reported to be still recovering from her injuries.
