Santa Barbara Airport is getting new nonstop Santa Barbara to Chicago service, with United Airlines joining American Airlines on the route.

United Airlines second carrier to offer Santa Barbara to Chicago service

A South Coast airport is now going to have a second airline offering nonstop service to Chicago.

Santa Barbara Airport announced United Airlines will begin daily Santa Barbara to Chicago service June 3rd. American Airlines is already providing seasonal nonstop Santa Barbara to Chicago service.

After being hit hard by the pandemic, airline service at Santa Barbara is making a huge comeback. The airport now has nonstop service to cities like Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Oakland, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle.

One of the biggest additions came last month when Southwest Airlines started serving Santa Barbara.
