Authorities are now identifying a man they say was shot to death by the same person who wounded four law enforcement officers on the Central Coast.

Johnny Watson’s body was found Wednesday morning by the Paso Robles train station.  The 58-year-old man had been shot to death. 

A man wanted for shooting a sheriff’s deputy on the Central Coast is dead, but not before police say he wounded three more officers.  It was a two days for Paso Robles and Templeton, with evacuations and lockdowns with a gunman on the loose.

Authorities are still trying to piece together what led to a car to car shooting in Ventura County which left a man dead over the weekend. It happened just after 12:30 Saturday morning, just outside of Oxnard in the community of El Rio.

At least one person is reported dead following what may have been a domestic incident at a Santa Barbara County estate.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputies were called to the home on the 4100 block of Mariposa Drive just after 8 Tuesday night, by reports of a domestic dispute.

A pregnant woman and her young daughter have been wounded by gunfire, and questions have been raised about how the Ventura County Fire Department handled the incident.

Port Hueneme Police say the shooting happened at around 10 Tuesday night on the 100 block of East Pearl Street.  The little girl's father took her down the street to Fire Station 53, on the 300 block of North Second Street.  Police officers drove the victim to the Ventura County Medical Center, after the father didn't get an immediate response from firefighters.

Police have made an arrest, arrest and one person was taken to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds after a shooting in Santa Barbara.

The shooting took place at around 5 a.m. Wednesday, in downtown Santa Barbara.

A teenager on the South Coast has been arrested after he was accused of threatening to commit a school shooting.

Ventura police say just after 1 pm on Friday, a school resource officer working at Buena High School was alerted to the threat made by a male student.

He fired at officers on two separate occasions, and was shot to death in Solvang as he drove a stolen truck in the direction of some officers while firing at them.

A shooting on the South Coast has left three people injured.

Santa Paula Police say officers responded just before 3 a.m. Saturday to a trailer park in the 200 block of South Beckwith Road. An investigation determined that three people were confronted by two suspects before the shooting occurred.
