It's a theater group which has stage shows on the Central Coast ranging from "Hamlet" to "Beauty And The Beast."  But PCPA/Pacific Conservatory Theater, based at Alan Hancock College in Santa Maria had to cancel its season due to coronavirus, just like many other performing arts groups on the Central and South Coasts.

A theater company which has been entertaining the Central Coast for more than a half century has cancelled its entire 2020 summer season because of the coronavirus crisis.

PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theater stages productions at the Marian Theater in Santa Maria, and at the Solvang Festival Theater in Solvang. 

A more than half century old theater company on the Central Coast has announced Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” and Shakespeare’s classic “Julius Caesar” will be among the highlights of its new season. Santa Maria based PCPA will offer 10 different productions during its 2019-2020 season.

One of the Central Coast’s leading performing arts organizations has announced the lineup for its 2017-2018 season, with productions ranging from a classic Arthur Miller play to a pair of Disney musicals.

The PCPA-Pacific Conservatory Theater will kick off its new season with Disney’s “Freaky Friday,” which will run November 9th through December 23rd at Santa Maria’s Marian Theater. It will be followed by the drama “The Crucible,” the Arthur Miller play set in the 1600’s which was a social parable about the witch hunt for communists in America in the 1950’s.

A non-profit theater company which has been entertaining audiences, and training stagehands and performers on the Central Coast for more than half a century has announced the lineup for its 2016 summer season.
