highway 150

Motorists who normally use a South Coast highway are soon going to find an unexpected stop in the middle of it. Caltrans says some temporary stoplights are being installed on Highway 150 between Santa Paula and Ojai, to help with a construction project.

A state highway in Ventura County is open again after a huge boulder partially blocking the roadway was blown up, and the chunks removed.

Recent storms dislodged the giant rock, which rolled onto Highway 150 between Santa Paula and Ojai.

Travelers on a South Coast highway are going to encounter delays for the next few months.

Traffic is only being allowed to flow one direction at a time on some sections of Highway 150 between Ojai and Santa Paula. Crews are building barriers along two sections of the highway between Steckel Park and Thomas Aquinas College to try to stabilize the adjacent slopes.
