Detectives are trying to figure out what led to the death of a man whose body was discovered on a popular Central Coast beach. Some visitors to Pismo Beach spotted the body in the surf there Tuesday afternoon.

Ventura County Sheriff’s officials say 65-year-old Clyde Miller hasn’t been seen since June 17th, and his disappearance was reported to the department on Thursday.
