Woolsey Fire Losses Up To More 1800 Structures Destroyed Or Damaged; Losses Include Movie Sets

Firefighters are closing in on full containment of the Woolsey brush fire, which has burned 96,000 acres of brush in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.

The fire is 94% contained as of midday Monday, with a goal of having it fully contained on Thursday.

The blaze has destroyed an estimated 1500 structures, and damaged more than 300 more.

Among the buildings lost are some historic buildings which had a unique role in Hollywood’s history. KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story.
