The body of a woman has been discovered on a South Coast beach.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office officials say the remains of an adult female were found just after 10 a.m. Tuesday on a beach just east of Carpinteria.
The woman has been identified, but her name hasn’t been released yet. Officials aren’t saying at this point whether they consider the death to be suspicious.
