Ventura County is giving some money to non-for-profit hospitals in the county which have stepped up to help deal with the coronavirus crisis.

The County is splitting $10 million dollars in funding among five hospitals in Ventura, Ojai, Oxnard, Camarillo, and Simi Valley.  The money is part of the $147 million dollars the county received in federal CARES act coronavirus relief funding.

County officials say the hospitals have played a key role in providing health care, and bed space to those who have needed it during the pandemic.
