Two Stabbed In Ventura County Store; Man In Custody For Incident

Detectives are trying to figure out why a man went on a rampage at a Ventura County store, stabbing two people.  It happened Thursday afternoon in Fillmore.

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of an attack at a store on Ventura Street.  They stopped, and arrested a man fleeing the business with a knife in his hand.

When they went in the store, they found a delivery truck driver who had been stabbed in the arm, and a customer who had been stabbed in the chest and back.  The victims were taken to a hospital, where they were treated and released.

Cesar Pedro Villanueva was arrested on assault with a deadly weapon, and resisting arrest charges.
