Two Major Brush Fires In Ventura County Prompt Friday School Closures

As the Woolsey Fire and Hill Fire charred thousands of acres of land in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, dozens of schools are closed on Friday, November 9th.   There's a full list at vcoe.org.

3. Conejo Valley Unified School District (all schools) 
4. Hueneme Elementary School District (all schools)
5. Las Virgenes Unified School District (all schools)
6. Mesa Union School District (all schools)
7. Oak Park Unified School District (all schools)
8. Oxnard Elementary School District (all schools)
9. Oxnard Union High School District (all schools)
10. Pleasant Valley School District (all schools)
11. Rio School District (all schools)
12. Simi Valley Unified School District (all schools)
13. Somis Union School District (all schools)
14. Ventura County Charter Schools: ACE, Bridges, MATES, River Oaks, Vista Real (all Ventura County sites)
15. Ventura County Office of Education (sites listed below): ACCESS, Dean Triggs School, Dwire School, Gateway Community School, Hathaway Preschool, James Foster School, La Mariposa Elementary School, Las Colinas Middle School, VCOE classroom at Moorpark High School, Phoenix - Airport, Phoenix - Los Nogales, Phoenix - Moorpark, Pleasant Valley Early Childhood Center, Ritchen Preschool, Sunkist School, Williams Preschool.
