Two Hurt When Car Hits Pedestrians In Front Of South Coast High School

A car hit two people in front of a South Coast high school Thursday morning.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies say it happened just before 8 a.m., near Carpinteria High School. 

The accident is still under investigation, but deputies say both people who were hit are expected to recover, and had non-life threatening injuries.  The driver remained at the scene, and cooperated with officers. 

Alcohol and drugs aren't suspected of being factors in the accident.
