Some additional coronavirus related deaths have been reported on the Central and South Coasts. 165 total deaths have now been reported in the region.
Three more were reported Thursday, with two in Ventura County and one in Santa Barbara County.
There has now been a total of 82 deaths in Ventura County, 68 in Santa Barbara County, and 15 in San Luis Obispo County. The latest deaths were all older adults with preexisting health conditions.
The overall total of diagnosed cases in the region now tops 16,700, but the numbers are preliminary. 236 new cases were reported Thursday. Issues with the state’s data system means the exact number in each county could be off.
