There’s a warning about some potentially dangerous weather for parts of the Central and South Coasts Wednesday, due to strong thunderstorm activity. The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Santa Barbara and Ventura County mountains, as well as for the Cuyama Valley.
Meteorologists say Highways 33 and 166 could be at risk for flooding in the mountain areas. The biggest concern is for the Lockwood Valley area.
There could be some heavy, slow moving showers which could drop up to two inches of rain. The Watch is in effect until 8 Wednesday night. However, there are no watches or warnings for the region’s brush fire burn zones.
