After some warmer than average weather for the Central and South Coast, a chance of rain is returning to the region. But, none of the three weak systems are expected to pose a threat to brush fire burn zones.
The first system passing through our area Tuesday was weaker than expected, bringing a few sprinkles on the Central Coast but mostly increased clouds and cooler temperatures. The second system is expected Thursday, and meteorologists say we could see light rain mainly north of Point Conception.
System number three on Friday is expected to bring the best chance of rain, with showers possible on the South Coast. But, again, rainfall amounts are expected to be light, and not cause any debris flow issues for areas impacted by brush fires.
