Storms In Forecast For Central And South Coasts This Weekend, And Next Week

The latest in a string of storms to impact the Central and South Coasts is going to move through the region Friday night and Saturday morning, but no issues are expected in the region’s brush fire burn areas. We could see a half inch to inch of rain on the coast and inland, and up to two inches in the mountains and foothills.

The heaviest rainfall will come overnight Friday night, and taper off by midday Saturday.

A stronger storm is expected next Tuesday and Wednesday. The computer models differ on how much of a punch it will pack, but we could see more rain than we’ll have this weekend.
