Sting Concert in Santa Barbara Postponed Due To Illness

A major concert planned for the South Coast Tuesday night featuring rock music star Sting has been cancelled, because of illness. Sting and Shaggy were set to perform at the Santa Barbara Bowl.

Officials with concert promoter Goldenvoice say Sting is under the weather, and has been advised not to perform by his doctor. Concert dates in Santa Barbara Tuesday night and Arizona Wednesday night have been cancelled.

The tour is set to resume on Friday in Palm Springs. People are being told to hang on to their tickets, with promoters say they are trying to reschedule the concert.
