The Santa Barbara Bowl and Arlington Theater lit their buildings with red lights Wednesday night, as part of an effort to call attention to the plight of live entertainment venues during the coronavirus crisis.
Similar theaters and venues across the country joined in to the #RedAlertRESTART effort.
The financial hardships for these businesses have been significant, and many of them - including the Santa Barbara Bowl - have turned to fundraising campaigns to try and offset the costs.
