South Coast University To Host Vigil For Thousand Oaks Shooting, California Wildfire Victims

A South Coast university is holding a candlelight vigil to honor victims of the Borderline Bar and Grill attack as well as those impacted by the state’s wildfires.

Cal State Channel Islands is inviting the public to join students and staff for Tuesday night’s event.

What’s being called the “Candlelight Vigil For Healing” will take place at 5 p.m. Tuesday, at the John Spoor Broom Library on the university’s Camarillo campus. CSUCI was forced to close by the 4500 acre Hill brush fire, but came through it undamaged.
