South Coast Transit District Tries To Ramp Up Awareness About Potential Terrorism

A South Coast transit district is launching a new push against terrorism.

The Gold Coast Transit District is using the Department of Homeland Security’s “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign. Posters and signs will be on busses, at transit stations, and in other public spaces to try get people to be alert for, and to report suspicious activity.

The campaign was originally developed by New York’s Transportation Authority, and has been licensed for use by the federal agency.

Gold Coast serves much of western Ventura County.
