South Coast Playwrights Conference Goes Online Due To Coronavirus

An internationally known event on the South Coast intended to help developing playwrights is going to take place this year in a much different form due to coronavirus.

The Ojai Playwrights Conference is known for bringing together established and emerging playwrights in a project to develop new stage works.

This year, because of the coronavirus crisis the work will be taking place online.  Plans call for eight playwrights to develop their works online with the help of the OPC’s staff.

And, seven other playwrights will start the development of their new projects, with the goal of presenting them live during the OPC’s Summer New Works Festival in Ojai next summer.
