A music festival which brought legendary performers like Herbie Hancock, Sergio Mendez, and Judy Collins to the South Coast has postponed its 2020 season because of the coronavirus crisis.
The Ventura Music Festival has been moved from July of this year to 2021.
Festival officials insist that it’s not being cancelled, but that the change of date is a deferral.
They also say that if conditions permit, they’d like to present three or four live, fully-staged events between this fall and the summer of 2021.
They will also look at larger events which can be staged outdoors.
