South Coast High School Evacuated In Pepper Spray Incident; One Taken To Hospital

A South Coast high school was evacuated after pepper spray was accidentally released on campus.

Ventura County Fire Department officials say it happened at around 10 Thursday morning, at ACE Charter High School in Camarillo.

The school is an Architecture, Construction, and Engineering focused school located at Camarillo Airport. Firefighters say four people were directly affected by the pepper spray, and one was taken to a hospital. The campus was cleared for students to return to class by midday.
