South Coast Gets New Airline Service

A major airline has added an ambitious new flight schedule to the South Coast. Delta Air Lines now has three daily nonstop flights from Santa Barbara to Salt Lake City.

The new service will give people flying out of Santa Barbara Airport one stop service to more than 90 destinations across the country and around the world. Delta is using 76 passenger jets for the flights.

The airport is now served by seven airlines, with more than 30 daily flights to 12 nonstop destinations.

They include direct flights to Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, San Francisco and Seattle. The airport served more than 780,000 passengers in 2018.
