A Ventura County congresswoman has introduced a new package of proposed veterans' healthcare improvements.
Democratic Congresswoman Julia Brownley of Westlake Village is calling for an expansion of limited dental care for veterans.
It wants the government to improve its monitoring of the VA, to insure it is doing a good job of managing programs.
And, Brownley is calling for every VA medical facility to have a minority veteran coordinator to insure historically underserved veterans have access to the help they need.
