South Coast City Starts Development Of New Blueprint For Growth

A South Coast community is starting the process of developing a new blueprint for its future growth. The City of Thousand Oaks is kicking off development of a General Plan update. It’s called Thousand Oaks 2045: Rooted in Community.

The City’s General Plan Advisory Committee will have a meeting next Wednesday night at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza to start collecting community views of issues from land use to open space conservation.

It will be followed by three community workshops in September and October.
