South Coast City Holds Special City Council Meeting To Fill Vacancy

A South Coast city has a new city council member.  Jeannette Sanchez-Palacios has joined the Ventura City Council, representing the city’s Fourth District.

She was selected during a special Ventura City City Council meeting Saturday held to fill the vacancy created by Eric Nasarenko’s appointment as Ventura County’s District Attorney.

Sanchez-Palacios has worked as a District Director for the State Assembly for the last decade.

The City Council interviewed 14 candidates before choosing  Sanchez-Palacios to fill the remainder of the term.  The seat comes up for election in 2022.
