A bicyclist is in critical condition after being the unlikely victim of a two vehicle traffic accident on the South Coast. A car and a pickup truck collided at the intersection of Saviers and Bard Roads in Oxnard Wednesday afternoon.
The pickup truck rolled over, and hit a bicyclist who was standing at the intersection. The 43 year old man suffered what are described as life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car suffered moderate injuries, and the pickup truck driver escaped with minor injuries. Oxnard Police investigators are trying to determine exactly what led to the accident.
