Simi Valley's Mayor Appears To Be Winner In Ventura County Supervisorial Race

Simi Valley’s Mayor appears to be on track to be the newest member of the Ventura County Board of Supervisors.

Preliminary numbers show Bob Huber received about 54% of the vote to represent the County’s Fourth District.

Bernardo Perez received about 29%, and Andy Waters about 17%. If Huber can hang on to more than 50% of the vote with absentee and provisional ballots which have yet to be counted, he’ll win the seat outright.

Longtime Fourth District Supervisor Peter Foy decided to retire.
