Daytime commuters may want to avoid using the Pacific Coast Highway between Ventura and Los Angeles Counties for the next few weeks, because of a number of projects to repair Woolsey fire damage.
Beginning on Monday, work will start on a 20 mile stretch of the PCH from Decker Canyon Road to Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
The work is set to take place Mondays through Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lane closures could lead to traffic delays.
The projects will include the installation of nets on slopes for erosion control, the addition of silt fences to keep the highway clear of debris, and the replacement of damaged guardrails and highway signs.
