Red Flag Warning For Southern Santa Barbara County Cancelled; Brush Fire Concerns Shift South

Southern Santa Barbara County made it through a weekend long Red Flag Warning without brush fire issues, but now there are concerns about gusty winds in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.

The strong sundowner winds predicted didn't materialize, and the Red Flag Warning expired at 10 p.m. Sunday.

But, strong wind is in the forecast for the next few days for Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.  So far, it isn't expected to be at levels to trigger Red Flag Warnings, but there is an elevated brush fire risk.

There are still some potential public safety power shutoffs possible on the South Coast.  Here's a link to the latest status from Southern California Edison: www.sce.com/safety/wildfire/psps
