Program Helping People With Vision Issues On Central, South Coasts Lead Independent Lives

The Braille Institute's Santa Barbara Center is offering free classes and programs for people with sight issues on the Central and South Coasts, including cooking classes in a recently revamped kitchen/classroom center

It’s a basic sense most of us can take for granted.

But what would happen if your sight started to become impaired, through any one of a number of problems like macular degeneration?

People living with vision loss often find even common tasks become more daunting.

On the Central and South Coasts, a non-profit center is helping people living with sight issues deal with the issues they face, often regaining lost independence.
