Details have been released about memorial plans for former First Lady Nancy Reagan, which will include opportunities for the public to pay their final respects at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. Nancy Reagan will be buried at the presidential library next to her husband, Ronald Reagan on Friday.
Her body is at a Santa Monica mortuary right now, where private visitation for family and friends is taking place.
On Wednesday and Thursday, she will lie in repose at the presidential library so members of the public can pay their respects. The library will be open from one to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. No parking will be allowed at the library. People wishing to visit will need to park at the former Bank of America complex on 400 National Way in Simi Valley, where they will be bussed to the library. With security high, no large bags, cameras, or strollers will be permitted.
Flowers need to be left at the bottom of Presidential Drive. Then, on Friday morning, funeral services will be held at the presidential library. The services are closed to the public.
