The latest unemployment figures for the Central and South Coast are out, and they show no significant change. The jobless rate held steady at 4% from February to March in Ventura County. There were slight bumps in Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties.
Santa Barbara County’s unemployment rate rose from 4.8% in February, to 4.9% in March. San Luis Obispo County went from 3.2% to 3.3%. There was also a slight month to month hike statewide, going from 4.2% to 4.3%.
