CHP officers say a woman suffered minor injuries when a Ventura County Sheriff’s office patrol vehicle rear-ended a car on Highway 101.
The accident happened at around 8 a.m. Thursday on northbound Highway 101 near Flynn Road, in Camarillo. Investigators say the deputy was on his radio reporting an accident on the freeway when he noticed the traffic ahead of him was rapidly slowing.
The officer swerved into the freeway median to avoid the traffic. But, a car had stopped in the median, and he hit it. The deputy was uninjured.
