The second in a trio of storms to hit the Central and South Coasts has arrived. Parts of the region could get up to three-quarters of an inch of rain before the second storm leaves the area Monday night.
The first storm to hit the region Friday and Saturday didn't cause any significant issues. Rainfall totals ranged from .05" in Moorpark to 1.75" at KCLU's transmitter on Gibraltar Peak above Montecito.
The storm moving through the region Sunday and Monday is expected to mean between a half inch and three quarters of an inch of rain in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. Ventura County could get about a quarter of an inch of rain.
The biggest of the three storms is expected to arrive Tuesday night. Meteorologists say it could drop four to eight inches of rain in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties over a three day period. Ventura County could see two to four inches of rain.
