New Help Being Offered For Survivors Of Ventura County's Borderline Bar And Grill Attack

Jun 14, 2019

A national nonprofit organization is starting a support group in Ventura County to help survivors of last November’s Borderline Bar and Grill attack, which left 12 victims dead. The group “Give An Hour” will host the weekly meetings, which begin next Thursday.

The meetings are focused on helping those who witnessed and experienced the attack get additional support dealing with the trauma.

“Give An Hour” is working with the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office, the Amgen Foundation, the California Community Foundation, and the Hilton Foundation in holding the meetings. There will be a facilitator on hand to coordinate the meetings.

They will take place at 7:15 p.m. Thursdays, in the Engage Community Room in Thousand Oaks.
