The dip in new COVID-19 cases appears to be continuing for the Central and South Coasts. More than 1700 new cases were reported in the region, but that’s a four-day total which includes the weekend, Monday and Tuesday.
Ventura County had 1046 new case, Santa Barbara County 405, and San Luis Obispo County 311. San Luis Obispo County’s number is actually a five-day total, because it didn’t release numbers on Friday.
33 additional COVID-19 related deaths have been reported in the three counties. Ventura County had 19, Santa Barbara County nine and San Luis Obispo County five. The total since the start of the pandemic stands at 1337 deaths.
