New COVID-19 Case Count On Central, South Coasts Still Trending On Low Side

The new COVID-19 case count continues to trend on the low side for the Central and South Coasts, increasing hopes we could be on the paths for more reopenings.

357 new cases were reported in the region Thursday.  There were 197 in Ventura County, 125 in Santa Barbara County, and 35 in San Luis Obispo County.  We’ve now had more than 126,500 cases in the Tri-Counties since the start of the pandemic.

15 new deaths are also being reported in the three counties, with eight in Ventura County, and seven in Santa Barbara County.
