The public will get its first look this weekend at a center in Ventura County specifically intended to help some crime victims. The Ventura County Family Justice Center will provide comprehensive services for domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, human trafficking, and elder abuse victims.
The County District Attorney’s Office has been working on creating of the 15,000 square foot facility for five years. It’s on the 3100 block of Loma Vista Road. It will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
