Authorities are trying to unravel what led to a murder that's rocked a normally quiet Ventura County community.
A man was shot and killed in a condominium complex in Newbury Park.
Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 500 block of Avenida del Platino just after 11 Friday night about reports of shots being heard, and the body of a man lying in a street. The name of the victim hasn’t been released yet, but investigators say he was from Thousand Oaks.
