More COVID-19 Vaccinations In Santa Barbara County Delayed Due To Disruptions In Vaccine Shipments

The bad weather hitting much of the eastern, and southern United States is continuing to delay COVID-19 vaccine shipments to Santa Barbara County, and disrupting some scheduled vaccinations.

Hundreds of people set for shots in Santa Maria Wednesday had to be rescheduled to next week.

Now, there’s word that more than 600 people scheduled for vaccinations in Lompoc Thursday also had to be rescheduled.  Those impacted have already been notified.

And, a vaccination clinic set for Friday at the Santa Barbara City College Wake Campus is also being cancelled.  The more than 500 people affected are being told that the event will take place on February 26th.
