A number of schools in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties will be closed on Monday due to the Thomas Fire. As of Sunday afternoon, the following are some of the schools and districts that are scheduled to be shut down on Monday, December 11:
Ventura County:
- Briggs Elementary School (closed Dec. 11 & 12)
- Fillmore Unified School District
- Mupu Elementary School
- Ojai Unified (closed Dec. 11-15)
- Santa Paula Unified School District (closed Dec. 11 & 12)
- VCOE Career Education Center - Camarillo (Dec. 11 & 12)
- VCOE-operated school sites and classrooms (Dec. 11 & 12)
- Ventura Unified School District (Dec. 11 & 12)
