A man was struck, and killed on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara.
It happened just after 6 Friday night, in the southbound lanes of the highway near La Cumbre Road. CHP investigators believe the man was trying to cross the roadway from the center divider when he was hit.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was hurt. The name of the man hasn't been released yet.
Last Friday, another man was struck and killed while trying to cross Highway 101 near Garden Street in Santa Barbara.
