Authorities are investigating the death of a man who apparently fell from the balcony of a third story apartment on the South Coast.
It happened just after 12 Sunday morning in Oxnard. Police and paramedics responding to the 700 block of Forest Park Boulevard found the body of the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told officers that the 23-year-old Santa Barbara man had fallen over the railing of a balcony. His name hasn't been released. Detectives are investigating the death as an accident. An autopsy is pending, but investigators say alcohol may have been a factor in the death.
